Welcome

Fighting Foreclosures
Jerome R. Siegel has been involved in the practice of civil law litigation in Broward County, Florida for in excess of 35 years, and during that period of time has handled numerous lawsuits concerning foreclosures, credit card debts and related issues. At this time, tens of thousands of foreclosure and credit card actions have been filed. It is necessary that a person know their rights and know what costs they face and also know whether they can keep their property and/or how long they can remain on their property. At the Law Offices of Jerome R. Siegel, P.A., 6400 N. Andrews Avenue, Suite 505, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309, (954)229-2226; we are ready to assist you in defending and negotiating a resolution to your credit and foreclosure crisis.

Foreclosures and Credit Actions, have more repercussions than just being brought into a lawsuit or having bad credit. These situations can affect a family relationship, a marriage, a relationship between friends, who may be partners or have an interest in property with other friends, or relatives, can greatly increase the amount of stress, tension and depression that people involved in the credit crisis are involved in. As an attorney practicing in this area, I try to lessen the stress and tension that you may be going through, as well as protecting your rights and standing up for you to preserve what rights you may have. As a Supreme Certified Circuit Court and Family Court Mediator, I can engage in negotiations in an attempt to resolve your credit problem and to make you as whole as possible.

Even if your credit problem cannot be resolved, and you risk the loss of your home or property, my office can assist you in keeping possession of your property for as long as possible by attempting to negotiate with the lender for a longer period of possession. This allows you to maintain your residence or property for a longer time before you have to move from the property and/or start paying on another property whether it is a rental or purchase. Many times it can take many months until you are required to leave your residence or property and we can attempt to work out a situation where longer periods of time are possible.

If you are in default on a mortgage, promissory note, credit card or other consumer loan or credit card accounts, we will try to help you resolve the issue, negotiate your payments and give you as much time as possible to work out the issue. If you are served with a foreclosure complaint, whether it be from a mortgage company, homeowner association or other entity, we will defend you in your foreclosure suit in an attempt to work out a reasonable settlement and to negotiate as much time as possible before you leave the property. To understand your situation better and understand the who, why, what, where and how in foreclosures, please give our office a call at (954)229-2226 and we will be happy to speak with you.
